The common cause for it is a low relative humidity in the air during the winter that decrease the moisture of the skin, it may also caused by the aging of human skin that lose the capacity to retain the moisture of the skin.

However, since there is medication worth to be considered for every disease, therefore there must be something that can also be done when this type of skin problem occur. For dry skin treatment, there are several methods that can be used. Firstly, related with bathing routine, you might consider to keep bath only in short time, to apply the minimum use of soap, and use warm water only (not hot).

Besides through the adaptation in bathing habits, you might also have dry skin treatment through applying moisturizers and bath oils every day. Besides that, drinking plenty of water will affect the skin�s dampness. Then, you can try using a humidifier if the air is getting dryer.

Other helpful dry skin treatment is to always consume fresh food with less fat. Sour and salty food in your lists will also be a good therapy. Moreover, juicy fruits are also necessary. Some herbal oil and herbal tea also make good effect of your next dry skin treatment. Moreover, a habit that helps not only the dry skin but also your overall health is to sleep for eight hours a day.
